For the best color and flavor, matcha is very sensitive to air, moisture, heat, and light.

  • After opening: keep matcha in the original sealed pouch, then place it inside your tin (instead of pouring the powder directly into the tin).

  • Refrigeration: store refrigerated with the lid tightly closed.

  • Best quality: enjoy within 4 weeks of opening.

  • Still enjoyable: up to 3–6 months when properly sealed and refrigerated (flavor will gradually soften over time).

  • Long-term storage: Freezing is recommended for unopened matcha. If frozen, return it immediately after use to prevent condensation.
