This website is operated by Drink Ame Matcha LLC, doing business as AME MATCHA (“AME MATCHA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Throughout the Site, the terms “you” and “your” refer to any visitor, customer, or user of the Site.
By accessing our Site and/or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms and policies referenced here or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the Site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Site.
AME MATCHA sells products online in the United States only and does not currently operate retail store locations.
SECTION 1 — ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you may not violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You agree not to transmit any worms, viruses, malware, or other destructive code.
A breach or violation of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Site.
SECTION 2 — GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason at any time.
You understand that your content (excluding payment information) may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmission over various networks and changes to meet technical requirements. Payment information is handled through secure payment processors.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Site or access to the Site without express written permission from AME MATCHA.
SECTION 3 — ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS & TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this Site accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that any information on the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date.
The Site may include content for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions.
SECTION 4 — MODIFICATIONS TO THE SITE, PRODUCTS & PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Site (or any part of it) or any product at any time without notice.
We are not liable to you or any third party for price changes, product discontinuation, or modifications to the Site.
SECTION 5 — PRODUCTS
All products are offered subject to availability. We may limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, and we may do so on a case-by-case basis.
We make reasonable efforts to display product images and descriptions accurately; however, packaging, labeling, and appearance may vary.
We do not warrant that the quality of any product will meet your expectations.
SECTION 6 — ORDERS, BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order you place with us. This includes, without limitation, orders that appear fraudulent, violate these Terms, contain pricing errors, or are not deliverable.
If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and shipping information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your information so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
SECTION 7 — SHIPPING & DELIVERY (UNITED STATES ONLY)
We ship to addresses within the United States only.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Processing times may vary during promotions, holidays, restocks, or high-volume periods.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges and estimated delivery timeframes are shown at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once a package is transferred to the carrier, AME MATCHA is not responsible for carrier delays, delivery issues, or losses, including packages that are lost or stolen after being marked “Delivered” by the carrier.
Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to claim, we may refund the order minus shipping/handling costs or require payment to reship.
Import & Regulatory Compliance
Our matcha is crafted and packed in Japan and imported into the United States for sale. Our supplier/manufacturer is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a food facility, as required for certain food imports. We may work with third-party customs brokers and logistics providers to assist with import documentation and regulatory processing.
Import inspections and clearance timelines may vary and are outside of our control. FDA facility registration does not constitute FDA approval of our products.
Delivered but Not Received (Lost Package Claims)
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you did not receive it, you must contact us at support@drinkamematcha.com within 3 days of the delivery scan so we can assist you in investigating with the carrier.
SECTION 8 — RETURNS & REFUNDS
Our returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping & Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Non-Returnable Items (Matcha & Consumables)
Due to health and safety standards for food and beverage products, matcha powder and consumable items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where required by law or as explicitly stated in our Shipping & Return Policy.
Accessory Returns (30 Days)
Accessories may be eligible for return within 30 days from the date of purchase, provided the item is unused and in its original condition, in accordance with our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for eligible accessory returns.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items (48 Hours)
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, you must contact us at support@drinkamematcha.com within 48 hours of delivery and include your order number and photos (if applicable).
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or a refund at our discretion.
We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we suspect fraud, abuse, or repeated claims.
SECTION 9 — SUBSCRIPTIONS
AME MATCHA does not currently offer subscriptions. We may offer subscription purchases in the future. If subscriptions become available, additional terms (including recurring billing authorization and cancellation rules) will apply and will be presented at checkout and/or included in an updated version of these Terms.
SECTION 10 — OPTIONAL TOOLS & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We may provide access to third-party tools, services, or integrations. We do not control these third parties and provide access “as is” and “as available.”
Your use of any third-party tools or services is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.
SECTION 11 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Certain content or services available via our Site may include materials from third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party websites and do not warrant or assume any liability for third-party materials or websites.
SECTION 12 — USER CONTENT, FEEDBACK & REVIEWS
If you submit reviews, comments, suggestions, photos, videos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant AME MATCHA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content for marketing and business purposes.
You represent that you own or have permission to submit the User Content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
We may remove User Content at any time in our sole discretion.
SECTION 13 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this Site, including trademarks, logos, text, images, videos, product names, designs, and other materials, is owned by AME MATCHA or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Site without our prior written permission.
SECTION 14 — PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 15 — PROHIBITED USES
You are prohibited from using the Site or its content:

to violate any laws or regulations
to infringe our intellectual property or the intellectual property of others
to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, intimidate, or discriminate
to submit false or misleading information

We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Site for violating any prohibited use.
SECTION 16 — HEALTH & WELLNESS DISCLAIMER
Our products are intended for general wellness and enjoyment. Statements on this Site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Consult your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or take medication. Individual results may vary.
SECTION 17 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Site and our products are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that your use of the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
SECTION 18 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AME MATCHA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase/use of products.
In no event shall AME MATCHA’s total liability exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.
SECTION 19 — INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AME MATCHA and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from any claim or demand (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
SECTION 20 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall still be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms. This does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
SECTION 21 — TERMINATION
These Terms remain effective unless and until terminated by you or us. We may terminate these Terms or suspend your access to the Site at any time if, in our judgment, you fail to comply with any provision.
SECTION 22 — ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and any policies posted by us on the Site constitute the entire agreement between you and AME MATCHA and govern your use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
SECTION 23 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
SECTION 24 — CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE
We may update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates on this page. The Effective Date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
